Bunbury Primary School put its best foot forward during the South West Academy of Sport's 2019 Fun Run, held on Saturday, March 16 at the Leschenault Inlet.
Competitors took part in the fun run's 2-kilometre, 5km run/walk, and 10km run categories.
The school entered more than 40 participants into this year's event.
Year 3 students Cohen Tappenden and Oliver Kuhn, both 8, finished first and third respectively in the Under-8s, 2km race.
"It was exciting to see a lot of people from our school participating in the event," Kuhn said.
"You can get fit by running. I like the feeling I get while running.
"Running is very healthy for you, and it is also a fun activity to do."
