The South West Strikers have begun their 2019 Promotion One - Women's season campaign with four entertaining clashes.
Returning after a Round One bye, the Strikers faced off against Fremantle at Bunbury Hockey Stadium.
Slotting one goal in the first half, the visitors came away with a narrow win.
The Strikers redeemed themselves with an impressive display against Rockingham in Round Three.
The scores were locked at 0-0, before the Strikers slotted four unanswered goals in the second half.
The side drew 2-2 with Whitford in a nail-biting Round Four/Anzac Day showdown.
Travelling to Warwick Hockey Centre, the Strikers claimed a commanding 8-0 win over Modernians in Round Five.
The Strikers will return to Bunbury for their clash with Southern River on May 5.
Round One of the 2019 Women's South West Hockey League saw Boyanup draw 2-2 with Associates, Towns/South tie 1-1 with Marist, and Exies claim a 2-1 win over Capel.
In Round Two, Marist defeated Associates 2-1, Robins clinched a 3-1 win over Exies, and Boyanup thumped Capel 4-1.
Associates scored a 4-1 win over Exies, Towns/South beat Robins 2-0, and Marist crushed Capel 6-0 in Round Three.
Round Four began with Robins obliterating Capel 7-0. Towns/South took down Exies 2-1, after Marist and Boyanup played out a 2-2 draw.
In Round One of the Men's South West Hockey League, Marist claimed a 3-0 win over Wests, Exies shot six goals to one against Towns/South, and Boyanup earned a 1-0 win over Associates.
