Six South West stars served up flawless results in one of the state's biggest tennis competitions - the 2019 CBH Country Tennis Championships.
Held from April 26 to 28 at the Alexander Park and Mount Lawley tennis clubs, the tournament saw 187 players from nine regional zones - South West, Central Districts, Great Southern, Midwest, Peel, Pilbara, South Coast, Upper Great Southern, and Lower Great Southern - compete across 20 events/421 matches.
The South West team was congratulated after winning six titles.
Liam Guy (Bunbury), Nicholas Bouzada (Bunbury) Korbin Priestley (Bunbury), Thomas Bouzada (Bunbury), Summer O'Keefe (Bunbury) and Louise Nicole Braddock (Busselton) held their own against competitors from all over the state.
Dropping just two games in the Under 10 Boys Singles division, Guy went on to claim a 4-0, 4-1 grand final win. Guy then teamed up with Nicolas Bouzada to secure a 5-3, 5-4 (4) victory in the U10 Boys Doubles event.
The U12 Boys Singles competition saw number one seed Priestley nab his fifth consecutive title with a 6-0, 6-0 triumph.
He and Thomas Bouzada clinched their second consecutive U12 Boys Doubles title with a 6-2, 2-6, 10-6 victory in the decider.
Having won singles titles in 2016 and 2018, O'Keefe was the number one seed going into this year's U16 Girls tournament.
O'Keefe needed just 48 minutes to score a 6-0, 6-0 grand final win, before she and Zoe Christison (Cunderdin) took out the U16 Girls Doubles title with a 6-1, 6-3 victory.
The result saw O'Keefe secure her second consecutive doubles crown.
In the Open Women Singles competition, Braddock defeated fellow Busselton player Ingrid Windsor - 6-2, 6-0 - in the final game.
Tennis West participation manager Brooke Koeing, Tennis West participation leader Kay-Leigh Nicholas, and CBH representative Stephanie Sinclair all assisted with this year's presentations.
Koeing congratulated the players on their incredible efforts over the three days.
"The CBH Country Tennis Championships is the pinnacle event for our country players," she said.
"The event attracts the highest number of country participants from across WA, who converge together to battle it out on the courts.
"It's a great country atmosphere which encourages both individual and team participation."
Combining the historic Country Week Singles and Teams fixtures, the CBH Country Tennis Championships has been going since 2013.
The tournament allows for singles and doubles players to compete for Australian Ranking points.
