For the second time in just 10 months, thieves have attempted to steal an ATM from the Treendale Shopping Centre.
According to South-West Police, the culprits stole a Bobcat from an Australind building site at 2.30am on Thursday, June 13.
From there, the offenders drove the bobcat through the centre's automatic glass doors before using it to remove an ATM.
After placing it into a stolen tray-back utility, they were spotted by police and followed onto Constellation Drive.
The ATM fell out of the vehicle during the pursuit.
This week's incident comes after thieves attempted a similar operation in September last year.
Bunbury Detectives are calling for anyone with information about Thursday's incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via crimestoppers.com.au
