Collie police will conduct further inquiries following multiple thefts from businesses in the CBD.
At 10.30am on Wednesday, June 19, one person was caught shoplifting two beanies from Everything Under the Sun.
Charged with stealing, the culprit was ordered to return the items.
In a separate incident on the same day, one item was stolen from Sportfirst. CCTV was recovered and handed over to police.
Officers were called to an incident on Johnston St, on Saturday, June 22.
One woman stole cosmetic items and a set of speakers from Red Dot. She was later found by police and charged with stealing.
Cash and cigarettes were removed from a vehicle on Princep Street, between June 18 and 19.
The car's owner reported the incident to police. Offenders smashed a glass door and entered a vacant premises on Ogden St.
Thieves stole an axe, a shovel, a hand trolley, a broom, and a bucket from a Wittenoom St residence, between June 17 and 19. The items were in the rear shed.
Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Coombes St, on Friday, June 21.
One male was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and breaching a police order.
Officers then responded to a mobile phone theft on Cunningham Crescent. Inquiries are still continuing.
One person was charged with possessing prohibited drugs and obstructing police, following an incident on Porter St on June 22.
Several chickens were stolen from a property on Johnston St, between June 22 and 23.
An act of careless driving was also committed last weekend, on Lawley St.
