Trainer-driver Dylan Egerton-Green picked up a well-deserved driving treble at the Bunbury Trotting Club last month.
On Saturday, July 27, punters gathered for the first race of the evening - the Christmas in July Get Together 2yo MS Pace (2100 metres).
After a strong start, Egerton-Green and Tenacious George ($14) surrendered the lead and sat behind The Stars Above at the bell.
Using the sprint lane, Tenacious George recovered to clinch the $4,484 first prize.
Egerton-Green then guided Our Mista Kalle (race favourite at $1.28) in the 2100m TABTouch 3yo+ MS Pace.
Several entrants struggled on the first lap, as Our Mista Kalle took the lead and never looked back.
The bay gelding finished 2.80m ahead of second-placed Liaurie.
Egerton-Green completed his treble in the $7500 Happy Birthday Maree Bonnett 3yo+ MS Pace (2569m).
He and Falling Starzzz ($4.80) sat in the middle of the field at the bell.
Following a late surge on the home straight, the bay mare crossed 3.40m in front of Kid Colossus.
Trainer-driver Garry Johnson and bay mare Spoilt Dilinger ($16) led from start to finish in the SOS Office Equipment 3yo+ MS Pace (2100m).
The Wayne Patterson Motorcycle Centre 3yo+ MS Pace (2569m) saw Pradas Ideal Dahling (race favourite, $2.90) edge out Sammys Ideal by half a neck.
