Collie Tidy Towns Committee has shared in $48,000 to fund a project to keep the regional town clean.
The committee will be running an education and cigarette butt bin installation project as part of Keep Australia Beautiful Council's community litter grant scheme.
Committee member Nola Green said the project was inspired by national parks on the east coast.
"I saw these cigarette bins around and thought they were a sleek solution to keeping cigarette butts off the ground," she said.
"They're accessible enough to be both in the main street, as well as in the bush, without being an eye-sore."
The project is one of 11 put forward by other community groups and local governments to receive funding to tackle local litter issues.
