Richard Payton would like to help the Greater Bunbury region to reach its true potential.

Mr Payton was born in the old Saint John of God Hospital and grew up in South Bunbury.
After attending Adam Road Primary School and Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School, he completed TAFE courses, a Bachelor of Business, and a Masters degree from Curtin University.
Mr Payton is now a Bunbury Outer Ring Road northern and central community reference group member, and a long-time member of the South West Sports Centre.
"Having lived here all my life, I want to help Bunbury prosper. I am not a member of any political party and have no business interests within Bunbury," he said.
"I pride myself on making, fair informed decisions with the best interests of the community. I am a good listener and believe in a fair go and a balanced approach.
"There needs to be honesty, integrity and transparency by council."
If elected, Mr Payton will fight to help revitalise the CBD, increase and support tourism, and balance the preservation of Bunbury's natural environment with sustainable development.
"As a councillor, I will reflect the views of the community. Councillors need to work proactively with state and federal governments to ensure the city secures funding for infrastructure," she said.
"I am committed to Bunbury, to its economy, its families, and its future.
"I will strive to keep council rates increases to a minimum, whilst ensuring essential services continue.
"I will focus on providing fiscally responsible, timely, and efficient services for all residents."
