Bunbury Photography Group shine at Interclub competition

The Bunbury Photography Group recently competed in a Interclub competition in Albany.

The topic for the images was "Feel the Emotion - An image using body language to show the emotion. Not the face. It could be human, animal or birdlife."

The judge for the competition was professional photographer, Malcom Heberle

Bunbury's Jodie Deeley took out the best picture for her photo 'Sibling love'.

Richard Hall, also from Bunbury received a high commendation for his photo of a Bunbury Triathlete who looked like he had a tough time with his footwear as he finished the race barefoot.

Bunbury's Chris Tate received a high commendation for his photo of a kite surfer at the Leschenault Estuary, showing his adulation as he is hoisted sky-high by the afternoon breeze.

Ms Deeley's photo is just one of the fabulous images that will feature in the Photography Group of Bunbury's Exhibition "Inspired by Light".

The exhibition will be at the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery from October 12 to December 15.

At the conclusion of the exhibition all images will be donated to not for profit community groups to display in their public spaces.

Members of community groups are invited to come down during the exhibition and nominate which image they may like to take home.
