More than 250 women have registered to compete in the 14th Nina's Women's Triathlon in Bunbury.

The event is on November 10 at the South West Sports Centre with two different courses to choose from.

There is a Gold level which includes a 200-metre swim, 10km bike ride and two kilometre run and a Diamond level which includes 300m swim, 15km bike ride and three kilometre run.

This year athletes also have the option of participating as part of a team completing the diamond course.

Nina's Women's Triathlon committee member and Bunbury Tri Club president Caroline Cousins said the new approach to training was well received by participants.

"The South West Sports Centre and the Leschenault Leisure Centre have given us a swimming coach to help our participants as well," she said.

Registrations close on Wednesday, November 6.
