Collie Police have warned locals they will be keeping an eye out for trespassers at the local Waste Transfer Station this summer.
Senior Sergeant Heath Soutar said as a result of CCTV footage police captured and was subsequently charged with trespassing after hours at the local business.
"People need to remember that the tip is a business," he said.
"It has operating hours and outside of that the tip is closed and no one is allowed to be there, like any other business in town.
"We will be working with the shire and keeping an eye on the premises over the summer months."
Mr Soutar said the increase in incidents at the station was not uncommon.
