The Apex Club of Bunbury-Koombana has been formally acknowledged for its extraordinary achievements over the past 12 months.
Attending Apex Australia's annual awards night last month, the club became the proud recipient of the 2018/2019 Club of the Year Award and the 2018/19 Publicity Award.
Club president Stacey Hearn said they were surprised and honoured to receive both awards.
"It feels very humbling to receive these awards. It's also really exciting," she said.
"Our service hours really got us over the line, this time around.
"After winning both awards, we all feel inspired to do that little bit more for the community."
Over the past year, the club has been involved in the City of Bunbury's Australia Day celebrations, the Des Ugle Christmas Party, and the Apex Bunbury Sleep Out.
The club successfully campaigned for the development of an educational bike track at Bellemore Park.
The group regularly conducts yard clean-ups and helps a wide variety of community organisations.
In 2018, they were awarded the Wilcox Brown Perpetual Trophy.
With 23 members, the club comes together at its Thomas St headquarters every fortnight.
Mrs Hearn said they were always looking for new members.
"We're now looking to carry out a few more smaller projects within the community," she said.
