Collie police officers have had a non-stop week which saw officers attend more than 100 jobs and put nine people through the lock up.
Beginning the week generous officers saw a vehicle and driver known to them drive through the McDonalds drive-thru.
After buying his takeaway officers pulled the 36-year-old male over where they seized the car and charged him with having no authority to drive, driving an unlicensed vehicle and having false plates.
On Wednesday November 6 police were notified of a theft where a mobile phone was stolen.
Later that day a 23-year-old female reported on bail for a number of charges to police who was in possession of the stolen phone.
The female was subsequently charged with stealing, obstruction of police and breach of bail and remains in custody after facing the magistrate the following day.
Two fire related incidents were also attended by police during the week with a 43-year-old male charged with one of the fire offences.
On November 9 police were notified of the theft of a 2003 silver Holden Astra which occurred sometime overnight.
The vehicle was found that day burnt out in the Stenes Plantation on Collie-Williams Road.
The following day police arrested and charged a 43-year-old male with no fixed place of abode with willfully lighting a fire after he was remanded in a citizen arrest at Stockton lake.
Campers and an off duty Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attraction officer detained the man after witnessing the fire in the lake's surrounding bushfire.
Senior Sergeant Heath Soutar praised the public for their quick actions.
"The campers rushed to the area to put out the fire before taking control and detaining the man for police," he said.
"It's a fantastic effort by the community who acted quickly and helped police apprehend the man,
"We're all seeing what's happening over east right now and the last thing we want is the same happening here, so great effort to them."
Police arrested and charged a 42-year-old male, Shane Wells, with unlawful possession of cash and unlawful possession of an unlicensed firearm after a routine traffic stop.
As a result of the search, officers found more than $45,000 in cash and the firearm hidden in various locations in the vehicle.
According to police Mr Wells was on bail for a number of other drug related charges and when he faced court was remanded in custody until a later date.
It is unknown whether the unlicensed firearm is linked to Operation Athena and police said enquiries were continuing to determine the origin of the handgun.
