BBA, Men - Round 20: Aces Sky claims 10-point win over Tornadoes Black

Third-placed Aces Sky cruised to an upset victory over Tornadoes Black in Round 20 of the Bunbury Basketball Association's Men's competition.

Fighting off a spirited comeback from the league leaders, Aces Sky celebrated a gutsy 60 to 50 win.

Aces Sky's Anthony Marinovich and Luke Leighton impressed with 12 points apiece.

The Bulls retained fourth spot on the ladder with a crushing 112 to 82 triumph over fifth-placed Dunsborough, at the Naturaliste Community Centre.

Travis Durnin (34) and Clive Weeden (29) starred for the victors, while Rohan Stokes top-scored for the Oilers with 27.

Second-placed Aces White secured a commanding 119 to 57 victory over bottom-dwellers Eaton.

In Round 19 of the Women's competition, Dunsborough notched up a resounding 76 to 55 win over the Bulls.

Oilers' star Beige Harris landed 28 points (including 10 two-pointers), while Bulls' powerhouse Georgia Denehey sunk 26 (including six three-pointers).

Second-placed Tornadoes Black held off an energetic Aces Sky in Bunbury, on Friday night.

Trailing by five at three-quarter time, the reigning premiers recovered to claim a 55 to 51 win.

Aces Sky's Anita Reca finished up with 22, ahead of Tornadoes Black's Javene Fitch (15) and Zaya Black (also 15).
