The home side was comprised of current players from the South West Academy of Sport and the South West Hockey League.
Surprising the visitors, the South-West boys communicated effectively and set up numerous attempts on goal in the first half.
Tied at 2-2, both sides went hell-for-leather in the game's dying stages.
With just 30 seconds left on the clock, YMCC found an opening before slotting home the match-winning goal.
Teams from all over the Greater Bunbury region took part in this year's Cheeky pre-season competition, raising approximately $4000 for brain cancer research.
The annual event is held in memory of Marist Hockey Club member Brian Cheek, who passed away from brain cancer in 2015.
Marist, All-Sorts, and Eaton celebrated after taking out the Men's Open, Women's Open, and Social Mixed titles respectively.
