Hundreds took to the heart of the city's CBD on Saturday, March 7, to enjoy the array of activities on offer as part of this year's Chinese New Year Festival.
Victoria Street was lined with art and craft workshops for those of all ages, food, market stalls and four hours worth of live performances, featuring the Chung Wah Women's Group and the Dragon Dance by Balcatta Kung Fu & Tai Chi Academy.
Now in its fourth year, the Chinese New Year Festival is organised by the very family responsible for opening Bunbury's first Chinese restaurant in 1967.
The annual street festival, hosted by the Yip family and supported by the City of Bunbury, aims to highlight different facets of Chinese culture and support goodwill between the Chinese community and the local community.
