Small and medium businesses across Australia, including hairdressers and barbers, have been greatly affected by the Coronavirus outbreak.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced a series of new restrictions on March 22.
Hairdressers/barbers were ordered to follow strict social distancing guidelines and limit each client to 30 minutes.
After facing a backlash from business owners, National Cabinet agreed to relax the rules.
Many in the industry have called for the government to add hairdressers/barbers to the shut-down list.
Hundreds of South-West businesses have already decided to shut their doors until further notice.
Taking to social media, Soho for Hair (East Bunbury) manager Jessica Brine praised the staff and clients for their support in these difficult times.
Ms Brine said it was vitally important for the community to follow the rules set down by the state and federal governments.
"We're encouraging everyone to stay safe and support local businesses as much as possible - in times like these, we have to come together," she said.
Leo's Men's Hairdressers, on Victoria Street, will also remain closed for the foreseeable future.
Co-owner Tracey Potts thanked the community for their understanding and their undying support.
"We will be back," she said.
Price Attack Bunbury will remain open, and will enforce strict hygiene and social distancing measures from this point forward.
"There will no doubt be an impact on salons because of COVID-19, and we expect a decline in salon visits by customers being cautious," Price Attack chief executive officer John Pascoe said.
"We are cleaning hands and surfaces multiple times a day, adding signage, providing disinfectants and offering free cancellations.
"We are reminding our stylists to keep their distance: avoid hugs, handshakes or close contact with clients and co-workers."
