Beam, in consultation with the City of Bunbury, has made the decision to temporarily suspend its e-scooter service in Bunbury due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.
Beam and the city have been closely monitoring advice from relevant health authorities over recent days.
Although no formal advice or government directive has been received, the decision to suspend operations has been made to protect the well-being of riders and the local community.
Beam e-scooters have proven popular with locals and visitors to the area since landing in the city last month.
Once the current situation subsides, the city and Beam will come together and look at options to resume the trial with an updated street trading licence agreement.
