The ongoing Coronavirus outbreak has greatly affected those living below the poverty line across Australia and the globe.
The team at Doors Wide Open are now putting together 'community care bags' to help those less fortunate.
Each bag contains a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, tampons, soap, wet wipes, toilet paper, shampoo, dry food, tinned goods, and a note/letter of encouragement.
The hampers will be donated to individuals and families impacted by isolation, personal issues, and financial turmoil.
The team have also begun making weekly deliveries to some of their clients.
Doors Wide Open operations manager Lina Pugh said people can drop off ready-made hampers and/or individual items at the organisation's Forrest Avenue premises.
"Relapses always happen around the holidays (Christmas, Easter etc.). We're now having trouble connecting with people to prevent these relapses," she said.
"We're used to having people come to visit. It is devastating that they're no longer allowed to come here.
"Even though they're not allowed to enter the premises, we are still able to support them in these difficult times.
"If you're struggling, we encourage you to reach out for help.
"Bunbury has the most amazing, beautiful community. Every time we do a call-out for anything we need, we always get a great response."
