The Harvey Brunswick Leschenault reserves team had control of the grand final right from the start when played the Eaton Boomers.
HBL kicked four goals in the first quarter to head into the break with a three goal lead.
The second term was tight, with each team only kicking one goal each.
HBL were able to keep the Boomers at bay in the third, kicking two goals themselves and leaving Eaton scoreless for the quarter.

It was HBL's turn to be scoreless in the last quarter and it was lucky for them it wasn't a close game.
Eaton kicked two goals but it wasn't enough to get close to the win.
The final score was 7.5 (47) to 4.7 (31).
The best on ground, Don Punch medal went to HBL player Cameron Thomson, who kicked three goals for the match.
