Christmas can be a little magical when you're eight years old. This week, Bunbury Mail journalist Pip Waller visited Eaton Primary School to talk all things Christmas with one of the year three classes.
Here's what Christmas means to Fynn, Kensi, Kobie and Jorja:

What do you think of when you hear the word 'Christmas'?
Presents, missing my family and happiness.
What do you hope Santa brings you for Christmas?
A PS5 so I can play Minecraft.
What does Christmas mean to you?
It means family traditions. We go to one of our family members houses and we have a big party there. It also means going on trips and having fun.
Jorja Grime

Family, friends and trips.
What do you hope Santa brings you for Christmas?
A smart watch.
What does Christmas mean to you?
It means family. Normally we go to our Nan and Pa's to spend time with them and sometimes our cousins from Melbourne come over, but not this year. And swimming in the pool. We always sit on mum and dad's bed in the morning and open presents.
Kobie Meachem

I think of meeting my family, going on trips and the good food we have like Christmas dinners.

I want another dog, specifically another Dachshund. I'd name it Scruffy or Teddy.
What does Christmas mean to you?
To me it means happiness and meeting family. Having good food, and playing around. We always go to Perth on Boxing Day because my dad's cousin lives up there and they have a pool.
Kensi Marshall
What do you think of when you hear the word 'Christmas'?
My whole family, presents and my dog Ember that passed away.
What do you hope Santa brings you for Christmas?
Lego because I'm obsessed with it.
What does Christmas mean to you?
Seeing my whole family and playing with my puppy Nala. Christmas reminds me about Ember, she died when she was 14.
