Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault is making waves in the 2018 South West Netball Football League season.
The team was favoured to win its round 11 showdown with South Bunbury at Leschenault Leisure Centre.
Spurred on by the fans, both sides engaged in fast, dynamic play early on.
The Lions hit the lead with help from stars Giselle Taylor and Sheridan Duke up forward.
On the other side of the court, Tigers’ goal shooter Teagan Bulman and goal attack Chelsea Catalano shot with pinpoint accuracy.
Ahead by seven at the first change, the Lions had put themselves in a comfortable position.
HBL remains second on the 2018 SWNFL ladder after its 62 to 38 win over the Tigers.
Busselton delivered an effective performance against league leaders Carey Park at the South West Sports Centre.
In their nail-biting clash, the Magpies held on for a 52 to 50 victory.
The result placed Busselton third on the ladder, slightly ahead of Bunbury in fourth.
In round 12, South Bunbury will be looking to make amends against Augusta-Margaret River at Hay Park.
Bunbury will face off against Carey Park, while Eaton will take on Busselton.
The Souwest Jets will clash with Coastal Sharks and Wheatbelt Flames later this week.
