Community members will flock to South Bunbury once again for the annual Dunstan Street Christmas lantern extravaganza.
In its 21st year, the festival/street party – held from December 22 to 24 – will see neighbours line the road with lanterns.
South Bunbury Rotary will assist with traffic management, whilst also collecting donations for people in need.
Musicians will entertain festival-goers with soothing Christmas tunes on December 22.
Dunstan St resident Lou Cresswell and her family will soon celebrate their sixth festival as part of the neighbourhood.
Ms Cresswell said the event brought people together from across Bunbury to celebrate the festive season.
“It’s a really lovely event. We just all get together, and we get to wish many people from Bunbury a Merry Christmas,” she said.
“Heaps of people from Bunbury come down and we get to meet them. It’s nice to see the kids enjoying the event.
“The festival really brightens up everybody’s mood for three days.”
