Through Operation Blue Plane, police have apprehended three males believed to have been involved in a series of burglaries across the South West.
Bunbury Detective Sergeant James Gaunt said two boys, aged 15 and 16, were arrested and charged following a short pursuit around 1.30am on Saturday, December 29.
Police believe the boys are linked to a series of ram-raids and other offences from 2018.
The pair were charged for allegedly committing burglaries, stealing motor vehicles, and damaging property.
They have since attended children’s court, and will return at a later date.
In a separate incident, one male was arrested by Australind Police in Eaton on Tuesday, December 19.
While executing a search warrant, police uncovered 81 grams of methamphetamine, 27g of MDMA, various other pills, and a small amount of marijuana.
Officers also found items relating to the same series of ram-raids from last year.
“We are asking anyone with information about the series of ram-raids to come forward,” Det. Sgt. Gaunt said.
“We’re looking at all aspects of these crimes.
“There are still people of interest out there that we’re making enquiries about.
“We’re asking people to ensure their businesses are well secured.”
Over the past month, Operation Blue Plane has seen Bunbury police conduct investigations into an array of serious offences.
Police will continue their investigations, urging those with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Rewards may be offered for information that leads to arrests.
