Bunbury Swimming Club members compete in 2018 Western Australia Age State Championships from December 15 to 18

Some of the Bunbury Swimming Club’s best athletes excelled in the 2018 Sunsmart Western Australia Age State Championships at HBF Stadium.  

Following the gruelling heats, Bunbury swimming star Kyle Lee picked up a Bronze medal in the Men’s 16-year-old 200-metre Freestyle final. 

Lee made every stroke count, going on to claim Gold in the Men’s 16-year-old 800m Freestyle. 

The Men’s 16-year-old 200m Backstroke saw Jye Jensen clinch Gold and a national qualifying time, with Lee taking out Bronze. 

The Bunbury team was delighted after Kaiden Richings scored Bronze and a national qualifying time in the Men’s 14-year-old 400m Individual Medley. 

Courtney Lee was in top form throughout the competition, taking home Silver in the Women’s 17/18-year-old 200m Backstroke.
